There are no rules in film making. Only sins.
And the cardinal sin is dullness.

The Friday Sessions at Artists of the Industry

Artists of the Industry VR, AR and Interactive Development In Action

AoftheI Under Construction

“The Friday Sessions” – We will open our studios for a unique ongoing collaboration experience. This is going to be like a private club, that you and your musical friends are invited to participate at will. We will also be looking to have guest musicians, audio engineers and producers participate and become part of our Friday festivities.

Why? Through serendipity or some force beyond our control, collaborations have been taking place at 1945 Techny Road in Northbrook on a fairly consistent basis, primarily on Fridays. We have created new original music and the opportunity to participate in cross pollination of various musical projects in the works by many of our musical friends. So, we have decided to make Friday’s an official and ongoing musical journey that we hope will sprout wings and become something of a legacy here in Northbrook.

Our clients want to try new things and we at AOFTHEI want to deliver content and design new ways to emotionally connect with audiences, deliver better ROI and guide the business to business world to higher ground in education, marketing and experience through new platforms. Virtual and Augmented Reality and the Artists of the Industry creative team are developing new content everyday, 360 immersive sound, visuals, human interaction, web and device based transformation platforms . With the use of machine leaning and artificial intelligence, data analytics and immersive environments, content and human communication can merge like never before.

See the beginning of something special. Jim Carlson and Duane Tornquist started their new concept, beginning and adventure one year ago.

First they searched for the location. Then started from an empty building located in Chicago’s northshore area in the business friendly city of Nortnbrook, Illinois. Then proceeded to build a brick and mortar facility that world become a place for AOFTHEI customers, friends and new lifetime relationships to enjoy and collaborate, making amazing content that could differentiate brands and internal cultures through experiential content, new technology and creativity.

Watch as Artists of the Industry is launched on the largest screen in North America. The size of a football field and located on the iconic New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York’s Times Square, co-founders, Jim Carlson and Duane Tornquist speak about the company as the event is captured and shared with the world.

(Song Title, “High Desert Groove”)

Jim Carlson, CEO of Artists of the Industry, takes a desert drive of the Lamborghini Huracan as our subject matter (machine) used in this short example of Artists of the Industry cinematography and editorial. In this Exhibit “A” short picture edit, we feature a piece of music written and recorded at Artists of the Industry by our very own in-house composer and producer, Justin James. This piece has a down tempo vibe created to provide a sense of romance and mystery between man and machine. This was cut to the same edit as Exhibit “B” which featured a more rocked out masculine music bed.

(Song Title, “High Desert Groove”)

Here we have Exhibit “B” of the Artists of the Industry composed in-house music featuring a custom rock track with a more mid-tempo groove. It was recorded live to picture in the studio and produced by Justin James and Artists of the Industry. The short example features cinematography and editorial showcasing the subject matter, a Lamborghini Huracan driven by CEO of A of the I, Jim Carlson.
